I am currently looking for a job and I encounter employers asking for a military ID or other military registration documents. However, I don't have a military ID yet because I am not registered for military service. Can I truly not get officially employed without this document, and what could be the consequences for me or the employer in such a situation?

Enterprises, institutions, and organizations are obliged, when hiring for employment (or admitting for study), to verify the availability of military registration documents (for those liable for military service – military IDs or temporary certificates, and for conscripts – certificates of registration with conscription stations). The hiring for employment (or admitting for study) of conscripts and those liable for military service is carried out only after they have been registered for military service in district (city) military commissariats, and also if they are registered for military service with the SBU and the Foreign Intelligence Service.
