Compensation for damage to a car due to a falling tree

If a tree from the adjacent territory fell on my car, which was parked near the building, and as a result the car was seriously damaged, who should actually compensate me for the damages? Can the management company refuse to pay, citing bad weather or that I allegedly parked incorrectly, if they themselves have not proven that the trees were properly maintained?
