Return of overpaid social benefits

I receive social assistance, but now I realize that I previously did not inform the Pension Fund about a change in my financial status. If I was accrued more benefits than I should have been, how can I find out the exact amount to return, and can I agree to write off this debt gradually, rather than in one payment? What will happen if I cannot immediately return all the money?
