Can AI responses be used as evidence?

I read that the police tried to use information from ChatGPT as evidence in court and were refused. I have a question: if the police stop me and provide some data from artificial intelligence regarding the technical specifications of my car or other issues, can such responses be official evidence against me in court? How do they legally differ from expert reports or official documents?
