Recognition of intercountry adoption

I saw that a Ukrainian court recognized a Polish court's decision on the adoption of a child. If, for example, I or my acquaintances adopt a child in another European country, does this decision need to be confirmed or recognized in Ukraine in any way? What is the procedure for this child to be officially recognized as mine here and have all the rights?
