Internal control and audit in Ukraine

I often hear that there are plans to strengthen internal control and audit in Ukraine, especially concerning state bodies and funds coming from the EU. I would like to understand — if these changes are indeed implemented, what exactly will they mean for ordinary citizens, and could they somehow affect, for example, the audits of recipients of budget funds or social assistance?
