Should a salesperson provide documents to the DPS during an inspection?

I work as a salesperson in a store, and during an inspection, tax officers approached me with a request to provide financial documents related to the operation of the RRO. I am not the business owner and have not signed anything to represent the interests of the FOP. Should I respond to such requests and provide the documents, or should this be done only by the owner or an officially authorized person? How should I act correctly in this situation to avoid a fine?
