Expulsion of 25+ students and mobilization

I am a university student, over 25 years old, and there are widespread reports that thousands of students my age are being expelled due to admission violations, with suspicions that this is a way to evade mobilization. I am concerned: if I was admitted fairly and am genuinely studying, what could be the grounds for my expulsion, and can I be forcibly expelled solely because of my age? What should I do if the university decides to expel me for these reasons?
