Is it possible to get a "white ticket" and what does it mean

Lately, I often hear and read about the so-called "white ticket". Please tell me, what does it really mean from a legal point of view? If a person receives a "white ticket", can this cause problems with future employment or traveling abroad? What rights and restrictions arise after receiving it in general?

According to the "Regulation on Military Medical Expertise in the Armed Forces of Ukraine," approved by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, after passing the MMC, a person liable for military service is assigned a fitness category. In cases where a man is assigned limited fitness, temporary or total unfitness, he is entitled to receive a so-called "white ticket". This is a special document that exempts those liable for military service from army service even during martial law and mobilization.

The so-called "white ticket" can only be obtained after passing the MMC and based on its conclusion. To get a referral to the commission, you must apply to the TCC and SP at your place of registration with the following documents:

  • application;
  • copy of passport and identification code;
  • copy of education document (if available);
  • copy of marriage certificate (if available);
  • copy of child's birth certificate (if available);
  • registration certificate;
  • medical card;
  • three 3x4 photographs.

After passing the MMC, the commission will determine the fitness category.
