Reduction of funding for state language standards

I read that the government reduced funding for the state language standards program and reallocated these funds to other educational needs. I am wondering: can such changes in budget allocation somehow affect the provision and protection of the Ukrainian language in education? Does this not violate legislative requirements regarding support for the state language?
