  1. The period of stay for foreigners who are citizens of countries with a visa entry requirement, as well as for stateless persons, is limited by the validity period of the visa. That is, a foreigner or a stateless person may temporarily stay in the territory of Ukraine for the permitted period of stay granted by the visa, but not longer than the last day of the visa's validity period.

  2. Citizens of states with a visa-free entry procedure may temporarily stay in the territory of Ukraine for no more than 90 days within any 180-day period, unless another period is specified by international treaties of Ukraine.

While staying in the territory of Ukraine, the calculation of the permitted period of stay for a foreigner is carried out by officials of the SMS by counting 180 days back from the day of control (the day on which it is necessary to determine the legality of the foreigner's stay in the territory of Ukraine). A foreigner has not violated the specified period if, within this 180-day period, they have stayed in the territory of Ukraine for no more than 90 days.

The period of stay can be calculated using the "Migration Calculator" service.
