The National Council for Children's Rights: tasks and functions

The main tasks of the National Council are: * facilitating the coordination of actions of executive authorities on matters of child protection; * preparing proposals for the formation and implementation of state policy on the protection of the rights and interests of children; * identifying ways, mechanisms, and methods for resolving problematic issues that arise during the formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of child protection; * carrying out general coordination and ensuring the consistency of the implementation of strategies, reforms, national and international initiatives in the sphere of child protection, including the fulfillment of Ukraine's obligations under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and other international acts, as well as the implementation of the European Child Guarantee.
