The head of the training course at the Odesa Military Academy demanded $8,800 from cadets for 'resolving the issue' of closing a criminal proceeding. He was notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Can such actions be qualified as abuse of influence and what are the possible consequences for the official?
