Are medical procedures considered joint property during a divorce?

I recently learned about an interesting court case in Kyiv where a man was able to recover half of the funds spent on his ex-wife's breast augmentation surgery. The surgery was paid for from the joint family budget. I'm wondering, if I spent joint funds on any medical procedures for my former partner during our relationship, do I have the right to demand the return of these funds after the breakup?
