Should an airport use the name of another city?

In the USA, the Port of Oakland wants to rename its airport to 'San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport', but San Francisco International Airport is against it, believing the new name infringes on their trademark and could confuse passengers. Can a court allow the use of the name 'San Francisco'? Jackson adds that such a decision is very confusing.
