Am I entitled to compensation for being a refugee?

Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic have paid a large amount of taxes to the country's budget. I am interested in whether I am entitled to compensation or assistance if I am a refugee in another country? What conditions must be met to receive such assistance?
