Can a couple of Siamese twins have a child together?

I read an article about conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel, who are believed to have given birth to a child. I was wondering how paternity is determined in a conjoined twin marriage. Do both of them have to acknowledge paternity, or is it enough for one of them to acknowledge paternity?
