The military says that the child will not receive anything else from the minimum pension, that is the law. No cash payments.
I am on maternity leave with my son, I have to survive on a few thousand a month.

Lorina FedanThis question is difficult to solve. After all, many similar cases end with a refusal to pay compensation. You can apply with an official letter to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to reserve part of the compensation for a newborn child.
The Ministry of Defense believes that 15 million hryvnias is not an inheritance, but a one-time payment. Therefore, only relatives who existed at the time of the soldier's death are entitled to it. If you receive a written refusal on an official letter, then you can consider this issue already in court. You just need to find a good lawyer.
