Can the construction of a new state building in a classical style be considered legal?

I have a question regarding the recent executive order by the US President regarding the construction of federal buildings in the classical style. If I decide to build a new government building in our city, will I be able to build it in the classical style and what might be the consequences of such a decision under our law?
