I recently learned about a case in Zhytomyr region where an obstetrician-gynecologist failed to respond appropriately to a deteriorating fetal condition during labor, resulting in the death of a newborn baby. I am wondering if the doctor will be held liable for his negligence and what are the possible consequences for him?
