If a person finds weapons or ammunition on their territory, is they obliged to report it to law enforcement agencies and what consequences may there be if they do not do so?

A civilian who finds a firearm, its main parts or ammunition for it is obliged to immediately notify the National Police of Ukraine of such a fact by calling the emergency service number 102 or the single telephone number 112 and, within 24 hours, transfer them to the National Police of Ukraine in any convenient way for further surrender or declaration or indicate their location for further seizure.
