Mandatory military training

The BZVP is mandatory for citizens of Ukraine who are pursuing higher education and police officers who are preparing for service.

Refusal to pass the BZVP can have consequences, since it is mandatory for certain categories of citizens. For students, this can affect their academic performance, and for police officers, their ability to serve. At the same time, the Procedure for passing the BZVP does not provide for strict sanctions, but emphasizes the need to fulfill civic duty.
