According to the legislation of Ukraine, a deferment is granted to students who:

1. Study full-time at higher education institutions (HEIs) or vocational schools.

2. Receive the first or next level of educational degree (bachelor's, master's, doctorate).

3. Are graduate or doctoral students.

4. Study at foreign universities (under certain conditions).

To receive a deferment, the student must prepare and submit the following documents to the CCC and the SP at the place of military registration:

• Certificate from the Higher Education Institution (EDEBO) confirming student status and form of study.

• Passport and identification code (copies and originals for verification).

• Military registration documents (extract from Reserve+ or military ID).
