Reinstatement to a police position after voluntary dismissal

Good afternoon, please advise if you have resigned from the police of your own free will and about 6 months have passed, do you need to undergo any additional tests, competitions, or a military medical commission to resume work in the police, as I read on one of the forums that if no more than one year has passed, there should be no problems with this in order to resume work in the police.

In accordance with Section VI of the Law of Ukraine "On the National Police", appointments to police positions are made by officials of police bodies (establishments, institutions) in accordance with the nomenclature of positions approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. In the event of a competition to determine a candidate for appointment to a relevant position, appointments to police positions are made by officials of police bodies (establishments, institutions) in accordance with the nomenclature of positions approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and in accordance with the results of the competition.

Citizens of Ukraine who have expressed a desire to join the police service are required to undergo medical examinations, as well as a check of their level of physical fitness, psychophysiological examination, and examination for alcohol, drug, and toxic addiction in accordance with the procedure established by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, in order to determine their health status.

Citizens of Ukraine who have expressed a desire to join the police force are subject to polygraph testing with their consent.

In accordance with the procedure established by law, persons applying for police service are subject to a special check, the procedure for which is determined by law and other regulatory legal acts.
