What should I do if I witness animal cruelty?

If you witness animal cruelty, you must:

1. contact the police - 102;

2. record the fact of animal cruelty (photo, video);

3. if possible, stop the violator;

4. provide assistance to the animal;

5. seek help from animal rights activists.

The current legislation of Ukraine provides for administrative and criminal liability for animal cruelty.
