According to the Law "On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine", the KSU is a body of constitutional jurisdiction that ensures the supremacy of the Constitution of Ukraine, resolves the issue of compliance of laws and other acts with the Basic Law, and, if necessary, carries out official interpretation of the Constitution.
