What does the criminal court of cassation do?

The Criminal Court of Cassation is one of the four courts of cassation within the Supreme Court that reviews court decisions in criminal proceedings in Ukraine in a cassation procedure.

Other powers:

• analyzes court statistics and summarizes court practice in criminal proceedings (cases);

• ensures the uniform application of legal norms by courts of various specializations in the order and manner determined by the procedural law;

• provides appellate and local courts with methodical information on law enforcement issues.
