What does the commercial court of cassation do?

KGS conducts cassation proceedings in economic cases.

Judges of the Commercial Court of Cassation administer justice in accordance with the procedure established by the procedural law, analyze court statistics and study judicial practice in economic cases, exercise other powers specified by law. According to the Law of Ukraine dated June 2, 2016 "On the Judicial System and the Status of Judges", the Commercial Court of Cassation is part of the Supreme Court. In each court of cassation, court chambers are formed to consider certain categories of cases, taking into account the specialization of judges. In the Commercial Court of Cassation, separate chambers are necessarily created to consider cases regarding (about):

1. bankruptcy;

2. protection of intellectual property rights, as well as related to antimonopoly and competition legislation;

3. corporate disputes, corporate rights and securities.
