The child must stay in the shelter with the teacher. This is a recommendation of the Ministry of Education and Culture. If the alarm started and the parents came to the school, they can stay in the shelter with their child, and after the alarm, leave the school together.

But the final decision on whether to hand over a child during an air raid is made by the head of the educational institution.
