What are the deadlines for consideration of an application for a criminal offense?

Bodies (units) of the National Police of Ukraine accept applications (notifications) about the commission of a criminal offense from applicants around the clock and without delay - regardless of the place and time of its commission and the completeness of the data received.

Appeals from citizens are considered and decided by the heads of police bodies (subdivisions) and their deputies within a period of no more than one month from the day of their receipt, and those that do not require additional study - immediately, but no later than fifteen days from the day of their receipt.
