Can maternity leave be reduced?

The state prohibits reducing the position of a person who is on maternity leave, as well as on leave to care for a child.

It is prohibited to reduce the position not only of the mother, but also of the child's father, grandmother, grandfather or other relative who are on maternity leave instead of the mother in accordance with Part 3 of Art. 18 of the Law of Ukraine "On Vacations".
