Do relatives have the right to take the child from the maternity ward and take it abroad?

Family legislation establishes the duty of parents to take the child from the maternity hospital or other health care facility (Article 143 of the Code of Ukraine). Depending on whether the parents are married, this duty falls on both parents or on one mother who is not married.
