I want to register in a country house, but I am refused

It is important to note that on October 10, 2022, amendments to the Law "On Freedom of Movement and Free Choice of Residence in Ukraine" regarding the definition of the term "residence" entered into force.

Only from October 10, 2022, the legislation clearly indicated the possibility of registering a place of residence in other habitable real estate objects, which include garden (and, of course, country houses).

To date, there are no grounds to refuse registration of a place of residence in garden and/or country houses, provided that the applicants submit all the documents required by law and comply with other requirements of the Procedure for declaring and registering the place of residence (residence) (Resolution of the CMU No. 265 of 07.02.2022 ).
