If the inheritance case is opened at the public notary, and later the notary...
solved...became private, did this notary take the business with him? Did he leave it in a government office?

An inheritance case is opened only once and only with one notary, therefore the heirs should be responsible for the choice of the notary, and if there are several heirs, agree on the choice of the notary among themselves in advance. Both the completed inheritance case (in the case of the need to issue an additional certificate of the right to inheritance) and the unfinished inheritance case are transferred to another notary public (state notary office).
