In order to inherit property located in the temporarily occupied territory, citizens should apply to the notary authorities in the territory controlled by Ukraine.
The following documents should be attached to the application for acceptance of inheritance:
death certificate of the testator;
documents confirming family ties with the testator (birth/marriage certificate);
will (if available);
passport and RNOKPP (identification code) of the heir/heirs;
originals of title documents for inherited property.
