Social protection of police officers

The relatives of a deceased police officer are not entitled to free medical care. However, they may be entitled to a lump sum payment and other benefits provided for by law. In particular, the family of the deceased may receive a lump sum payment, as well as other benefits, which may include social security, education, and other types of support.
