My account and property have been seized through Diya. What should I do and should I contact a lawyer?
First, you need to contact the bank and find out the reason for the bank account seizure.
If you become aware of the seizure of your property, then in this case you need to contact the Unified Register of Prohibitions on the Alienation of Real Estate Objects to obtain an extract from it. The extract will indicate the grounds for the seizure. You can obtain such a document either online or by contacting a notary directly.
If you disagree with the bailiff's decision to seize your property, you have the right to appeal this decision to the senior management of the State Bailiff Service. The appeal should substantiate the reasons why you consider the seizure to be unlawful or why it should be lifted from your property. At the same time, attach all the necessary documents confirming these facts. After considering your complaint, the bailiff may decide to lift the seizure or refuse, explaining the reasons in a written response to your application.
If the complaint was not satisfied or you did not receive a response at all, then in this case you should go to court.
