"Removed from military registration" is a temporary concept and does not mean release from the status of a conscript. After removal from military registration, the conscript continues to fulfill military registration obligations (passing the VLK, updating military registration data, notifying the CCC and SP about a change of residence, etc.) and must register for military registration with another body, for example, with the CCC and SP of another region or with the consulate of Ukraine in another country.

You may be excluded from military registration if, by decision of the Military Registration Commission, you are deemed unfit for military service.

According to Part 6 of Article 37 of the Law “On Military Duty and Military Service”, the main grounds for exclusion from military registration are:

  • deceased or recognized as missing in accordance with the procedure established by law or declared dead;

  • persons who have terminated their citizenship of Ukraine;

  • recognized as unfit for military service according to the conclusion of a military medical commission;

  • persons who have reached the age limit of 60 years.
