According to the court's decision, child support (alimony) is awarded as a share of the income of the child's mother or father and (or) in a fixed amount.

In case of non-payment of alimony in a voluntary manner, enforcement of decisions on the collection of alimony on the basis of executive documents is carried out by the bodies of the state executive service.

Decisions on the collection of alimony can be presented for execution during the entire period for which the payments are awarded.

It is not allowed to refuse to open enforcement proceedings based on a decision on the recovery of alimony, which was returned to the debt collector at his request and re-presented for enforcement.

The decision to collect alimony is subject to immediate execution. Immediate execution of the decision consists in the fact that the state executor opens enforcement proceedings no later than the next working day after receipt of the decision and immediately begins its enforcement.

On the day of the opening of executive proceedings for the collection of alimony, the state executor must calculate the amount of alimony arrears and, together with the resolution on the opening of executive proceedings, notify the collector and the debtor about it.
