Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Abuse of power or official position

  1. Abuse of power or official position, i.e. intentional, with the aim of obtaining any undue benefit for himself or another natural or legal person, the use of power or official position by an official against the interests of the service, if it caused significant damage to legally protected rights, freedoms and the interests of individual citizens or the state or public interests, or the interests of legal entities, -

shall be punished by probation supervision for a term of up to three years or restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, or deprivation of liberty for the same term, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years, with a fine of two hundred fifty to seven hundred fifty tax-free minimum incomes of citizens.

  1. The same act, if it caused grave consequences, -

shall be punished by deprivation of liberty for a term of three to six years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years, with a fine of five hundred to one thousand tax-free minimum incomes of citizens.

Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Official forgery

  1. Compilation, issuance by an official of knowingly false official documents, entry of knowingly false information into official documents, other falsification of official documents -

shall be punished by a fine of two thousand to four thousand tax-free minimum incomes of citizens or restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years.

  1. The same actions, if they caused serious consequences, -

shall be punished by deprivation of liberty for a term of two to five years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years, with a fine of two hundred and fifty to seven hundred and fifty tax-free minimum incomes of citizens.
