According to Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "On Social and Legal Protection of Servicemen and Members of Their Families", servicemen:

  • have the right to free qualified medical care in military medical health care facilities (during conscription for training (or inspection) and special meetings);

  • for the provision of medical assistance by state or communal health care institutions at the expense of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, and law enforcement agencies in the absence of military medical health care institutions at the place of military service, assembly or at the place of residence' I or relevant departments or special medical equipment, as well as in urgent cases;

  • have the right to free psychological assistance to persons who took a direct part in the anti-terrorist operation, in the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, repelling and deterring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, in the implementation of measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine, protection of the safety of the population and the interests of the state in connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, whether they performed official combat tasks in extreme (combat) conditions;

  • in respect of whom the fact of deprivation of personal freedom as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine has been established, restorative (post-isolation, reintegration) measures, adaptation, support (accompanying) measures must be taken after their release;

  • war veterans who are discharged or discharged from military service have the right to free psychological assistance;

  • who took a direct part in the implementation of measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine, protect the safety of the population and the interests of the state in connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation during the period of martial law may be sent to provide them with medical assistance or medical and psychological rehabilitation to medical facilities located outside of Ukraine;

  • have the right no more than once a year for sanatorium-resort treatment and rest in sanatoriums, rest houses, boarding houses and tourist bases of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine and law enforcement agencies with preferential payment of the cost of travel tickets in the amounts and according to the procedures established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (free of charge according to the conclusion of the military medical commission after inpatient treatment in a hospital);

  • in the presence of medical indications, they are provided with free sanatorium-resort treatment (servicemen in conscript military service, cadets (students) of higher military educational institutions and cadets of higher educational institutions that have military educational units, training centers (units), female servicemen)

  • have the right to receive out-of-the-ordinary vouchers to sanatorium-resort and health facilities (those who contracted a disease related to the performance of military service duties, after treatment in a military medical health care facility);

  • priority issuance of vouchers for sanatorium-resort treatment are granted first (to those employed in jobs with harmful working conditions, as well as in the special nature of their service, to military personnel who became disabled as a result of hostilities, participants in hostilities and persons equated to them) .
