How to make a death certificate if the father died in the occupied territory, but we have a death certificate from a doctor?
Good evening. To obtain a death certificate of a person who died in the temporarily occupied territory, one should apply to the court at the place of residence (outside the occupied areas and ATO) with an application, a receipt for the payment of the court fee and relevant evidence of death.
The application is submitted with an indication of the fact that needs to be established and the justification of the appeal to the court. Also attached are the originals and copies of medical documents, including those made in the occupied territories, audio and video recordings, explanations and testimonies of persons who can provide useful information, and other documents that can confirm the time and place of death.
Based on the results of the review, the court returns the application or refuses to make a decision with further clarification on how to appeal or what to do in the future, or makes a decision to establish the fact of death. A copy of the decision establishing the fact is given to applicants or sent to civil status registration authorities.
In order to issue a certificate, if the application is approved and the court decision is received, it is necessary to contact the civil status registration department with a copy of the decision and the applicant's passport.
