Who is given money for solid fuel now?

Ukrainians who heat their own homes with this type of fuel can receive money for firewood in 2023. Support for solid fuel is provided only once a year. When calculating the subsidy for firewood, the amount of income of family members for the past year is taken into account. Special attention and support is given to the vulnerable category of the population.

The subsidy for firewood is issued in the same way as for housing. To obtain it, you need:

• contact the local social security agency;

• submit an application for receiving a subsidy for firewood;

• provide a declaration of income for the past year.

Sometimes citizens may be required to provide a certificate confirming that a person really uses stove heating and firewood to heat his home.
