Men serving in the Armed Forces receive the following types of income:

  • monthly salary payment;

  • monthly additional remuneration, which is established for the period of martial law in the country;

  • one-time additional reward (combat payments).

Regardless of the types of income of the military, before the changes made to the legislation, alimony was collected only from wages.

However, from 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers also provided that funds that have not only signs of a permanent nature, but also temporary ones (one-time payments or so-called "combat payments") will be subject to the fact that alimony can be withheld from them.
