How much does it cost to register a power of attorney for real estate at the consulate?

Payment of the consular fee - USD 30 for a power of attorney (if the authorized person is a husband, wife, parents and children upon submission of relevant documents to confirm the family relationship) or USD 60 (for other persons or in case of failure to submit relevant documents for confirmation of family connection) and USD 20 for a certificate of signature on an application for entering information into the Unified State Register of Powers of Attorney for its validity on the territory of Ukraine. Paid separately, two copies of the receipt. It is paid after the documents have been checked by the Consulate through the Garantibank branch or online if there is a dollar account in the Garantibank.

Regarding the extension of the power of attorney: Article 247 of the Civil Code of Ukraine specifies that the term of the power of attorney is established in the power of attorney. If the term of the power of attorney is not established, it remains valid until its termination. The term of the power of attorney, issued in the order of delegation, cannot exceed the term of the main power of attorney, on the basis of which it was issued.
