Recently, the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding Certain Issues Related to Completion of Military Service During Martial Law" entered into force.
One of the key changes is the simplification of the procedure for discharge from military service for servicemen who received a relevant decision according to the conclusion of the military medical commission.
Thus, according to the changes, during the period of martial law, servicemen who were recognized by the military medical commission as unfit for military service do not return to the military unit for medical leave or discharge, but are immediately sent to the territorial recruitment and social support center for obtaining the necessary documents from the military unit regarding leave or dismissal from military service.
This became possible thanks to the fact that now all the necessary documents from the military unit can be obtained using electronic document circulation directly at the territorial center of recruitment and social support.
