Contact the nearest local registration service, which is responsible for the registration of residents in Poland.
You must bring a passport or other document confirming your identity and status in Poland (for example, a damaged card), a color photo not older than 6 months and measuring 35 by 45 mm. Fingerprints must also be submitted (does not apply to children under the age of 12).
Fill out the application for obtaining a PESEL and submit it to the registration service or the Polish Service for Foreigners.
After registration, you will be issued a PESEL. It usually takes 2 to 4 weeks.
